Installing Skymarx protective films on drivers, fairways and hybrids is easy and quick. With these instructions, you can't fail. In the video below, you can see the entire easy process from start to finish as done by us, and below the video, all the simple steps are explained in detail. The same steps apply to installing both driver protective films and fairway/hybrid protective films.
1. Cleaning the target surface of the racket with a cleaning cloth
The protective film package comes with one cleaning cloth for each protective film. The cleaning cloth is intended to clean the paint surface of the racket, to which the protective film itself will be attached at a later stage. Cleaning the paint surface of the racket ensures that the protective film adheres as well as possible. Attaching it to a dirty surface is in no one's interest.
2. Allow the cleaner to evaporate from the paint surface of the racket
It is a good idea to let the cleaning agent evaporate properly from the paint surface of the racket to ensure that the protective film adheres well. It is not a good idea to apply the protective film to a wet surface. Drying is easy to see visually and fortunately it does not take long. Typically, it happens within a few minutes.
3. Install the Skymarx protective film in place
Then it's time to install the protective film itself. The backing on the protective film must be removed, revealing the tape surface underneath. Remove the backing and align the film to the right spot. You can see the optimal position in the video above - the protective film should be very close to the base of the shaft. Then just press the protective film into place and it can also be stretched as needed (varies a bit between different racket models). The material stretches up to 30%, so you can stretch it quite boldly.
After this, it is recommended to rub the protective film into place for a while to remove any air bubbles from under the film. The friction caused by rubbing creates heat and the heating of the material helps to get the film into place very neatly. If you really want to be fancy, you can also heat the protective film, for example with a hairdryer, during installation.

4. Enjoy carefree shots
At this point, you have the best club in the group, which can even cause fear in your fellow players. You no longer have to worry about bad hits, which will probably propel you to unprecedented performances on the course. Of course, it is entirely up to you what that means. After all, the main thing is usually to hit harder and further than others, and not so much hitting the fairway or even the green, or whatever it was...
